The view from the top. The fake fur on my boots was a big hit.


We've been calling this one Lively, because she is, but Dumbo was certainly appropriate.

Just love these pictures! The baby lamb looks like a stuffed animal! I am sure farm life is often hard work, and dirty work, but I really envy you for the animals that are a part of your life. I also envy you that you grow most (all?) of your own vegetables.

The babies are getting so big! Have I missed it, or have you said what you plan to do with them? Are you trying to adopt them out (the puppies, that is)?

Note to Mayberry Magpie--the puppies will go to show or carefully selected companion homes. They've got pedigrees a mile long -- pretty special puppies, if I do say so.
