I must disclaim that it's been well over 10 years since I've engaged in such activities. After a few runs down the hill on this giant make shift slip n' slide, I was feeling pretty good about myself and my ability to still have fun...until I woke up to my alarm the next day wondering why I had lost my ability to move. It took me over 10 minutes to get out of bed and over to the toilet... I won't even comment on my adventure in there.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6506305897742962637.post-34112175498290746652008-05-28T18:07:00.000-06:002008-05-28T18:07:00.000-06:00OMG! This is completely me, except when I am limping around after a day of say, peeling wallpaper or lugging mulch or weeding, I lie and say something about the triathalon. Honestly, there is nothing more humbling that slowwwly lowering yourself to... you know... and being reminded that you damaged yourself overdoing housework.MsPicketToYouhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12304288663203185972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6506305897742962637.post-70508975094188474302008-05-28T15:29:00.000-06:002008-05-28T15:29:00.000-06:00In college, I was a resident assistant in the dorm...In college, I was a resident assistant in the dorms for a couple of years. One year, I had some football players living on my floor. Early in the season after two-a-day practices and weight lifting, their legs were very similar to how yours sound right now.

The toilets in our bathrooms didn't come out of the floor - they were like the ones in public restrooms with no tanks that come out of the wall. One of the larger guys had his legs give out as he was lowering himself down and took the whole toilet clean off the wall upon impact.

And personally, my muscles are always to most sore two day later - hopefully that isn't the case for you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6506305897742962637.post-75713992038366570632008-05-28T08:11:00.000-06:002008-05-28T08:11:00.000-06:00Yikes!
