And because I am a benevolent dictator, I will graciously grant the request for me to stop the yammering and just POST PICTURES OF THE LAMBS ALREADY!
Christ, settle down. Here. But Farmgirl Susan does this sort of thing much better (and more frequently) than I do. So next time, just go there for lamb pictures and come here for . . . whatever it is that I do here.
LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMBS!! Please, please send me a lamb!! Dear GOD they're cute.
ReplyDeletePlease don't tell me you have little baby chicks too. My head might explode.
They're so cute! Are they out gambolling in the field? Paul McCartney always tells a story about his lambs gambolling in the field or meadow or something, and he was about to eat some lamb chops, and that's when he decided to become a vegetarian. Anyway, that's where I came up with the word gambolling!
ReplyDeleteYes, they actually DO gambol. It's all very cute, but let's not get attached. These are all boy lambs, and so they are destined to become lamb chops. It's the circle of life. And no, we don't have any baby chicks yet. But we're going to get some as soon as we build a chicken coop. I'll post pictures if you promise to keep your head intact. Because, ew.
ReplyDeleteCute!
ReplyDeleteI love me some lamb pictures!!

In an era of 5-acre yards and riding lawnmowers, it is refreshing to see grass-powered biological mowers and fertilizer depositors doing the lawn maintenance! The last time that I saw this technique being used was nigh unto 50 years ago, curiously by a sheep owner who lived in a different cobblestone house near a different lake. Perhaps cobblestone houses create an affinity for sheep.
