Do not be fooled by the sweet face and innocent expression. I have photographic evidence that Lassie is a killer.
This is from when the woodchuck was dispatched. Today, a hapless chipmunk (THEODORE?! IS THAT YOU?!) met its end. I would like to send out an all-points bulletin to all creatures great and small in the near vicinity--leave this place, or you will meet the same fate as your furry friends.
And I'm getting tired of flinging little bodies into the gully, so please, just stay away from Blackrock.
I thought only cats were killers. That sweet looking dog couldn't possibly be the one responsible.
ReplyDeleteWish she were here to make the rabbit trapped in our fenced in yard go away. We've found out that rabbits arn't into hearding. Hiding, yes (and I might add that they're very good at it); hearding through open gates, no. And, yes, I'd be glad to fling it over the fence.
ReplyDeleteSuch innocent face, such killer instinct! ;-)
ReplyDeleteJune(my golden retriever mix) is also a little hunter. She had caught a few mice in the garage. Went after a few rabbits, if it's not for the wood pile she would have gotten the rabbits.
Isn't Theodore a chipmunk? Pretty sure.
ReplyDeleteUm, yes, Theodore is one of the chipmunks from "Alvin and the Chipmunks." That's why I said that after noting the chipmunk victim-of-the-day. Was that . . . unclear in some way? Am confused.
ReplyDeleteOne of us is definitely confused and ... umm ... okay, I misread that. I thought you were saying it was another woodchuck. [hangs head in shame]
