I can forget all the mean things I said about spring yesterday as long as the sun is shining and the lilacs are in bloom.
And the lilacs are most definitely in bloom right now:
I would just like to note that I took these photos with the maimed camera. It soldiers on, despite its busted screen. A lesson in bravery and perseverance for us all.
Looks lovely. Mr Chiots loves lilacs, I however can't stand the smell (strongly scented flowers give me a headache). I don't have any in the garden and I certainly can't have any in the house, but I do enjoy looking at them in photos and from a great distance.
My neighbors just TORE OUT THEIR LILAC BUSH! What is wrong with these people? At least I salvaged a few of the blooms. Your are gorgeous and I bet they smell like heaven.
Beutiful colors. A sunny day always lifts my spirits.

My lilacs aren't blooming yet - but soon, I know they'll come out soon!
