Do you ever find yourself standing in the kitchen, staring into space, contemplating all your options, and then deciding that a piece of cheese folded into bread is about all you can rouse yourself to "make" for breakfast?
Sorry, not a cheese person here. But, hear ya on the "know I need to eat something" and don't feel like fixing jack sh^t. Usually fix peanut butter/honey on one slice whole wheat. I used to eat those packs of cheese crackers that had white crackers and garlic cheese...but, not really sure that counts as cheese. But, they were so easy and tasted so good. We got 7 inches snow last night/this morning. Southern Indiana. How much you all got? Will you see more soon? Did you get like D.C. did?
I am so impressed that you thought to wrap it in bread. I usually just have a slice of cheese hoping to prevent the, "I forgot to have breakfast," vapors.
Actually, no. My "random food" usually turns out to be crackers or popcorn. Which means either tons of crumbs or a need to floss. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment, BTW. You can write about dead woodchucks any time!
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, dessert- cheese is always the answer! =)

ReplyDeleteoh yes, I have done exactly that :) - or another thing is keep hard boiled eggs on hand. Doesn't get any easier :)
ReplyDeleteAdd a slice of tomato in that bread and cheese and it's extra yummers...
ReplyDeleteBaby wants cheese; baby gets cheese. I see no problem here.
ReplyDeleteSounds good to me!
ReplyDeleteCheese, colby or mild cheddar, on rye bread. It works for any meal.
ReplyDeleteOh, yeah. And occasionally dinner, too.
