My harvest has peaked but continues to chug along.
tomato sandwiches, tomato pie, tomato tomato, tomato bacon lettuce, tomato italian dressing basil, tomato on every sandwich, tomato cottage cheese, tomato spinach salad, tomato pizza, tomato juice,tomato salsa, so glad for tomatoes !! Beth
oh just quit yer damn braggin' *grin* I've got 10 pounds of bacon in the fridge and not a tomato in sight thanks to the groundhog invasion.I'm starvin. can I come over ? *grin*
woooooooooo! It's tomato glut time!I am, at this very moment, preparing for my first canning session with the tomatoes. I've already done 4 pints of salsa verde and 12 pints of pickles and now it's time for the big dogs.Though I've yet to pick a 2 pounder. Closest I got today was a 1 lb 6 5/8 ouncer. Fun times. Ready the canner!
