In honor of A.'s 32nd birthday today, the continuation of "The Woodchuck Man."
Who can take a pumpkin and make a splendid pie?
Who can fix the pump when the cisterns run dry?
The woodchuck man
The woodchuck man can
The woodchuck man can
'Cause he uses what he has and makes it work for him
Who can use a pallet to make a sturdy pack?
Who can haul a ton of guts with only his strong back?
The woodchuck man
The woodchuck man can
The woodchuck man can
'Cause he uses what he has and makes it work for him
Who can roof our huge house without a helping hand?
Who can use an electric saw to butcher several lambs?
The woodchuck man
The woodchuck man can
The woodchuck man can
'Cause he uses what he has and makes it work for him
Happy birthday to A., the biggest woodchuck I know. And I mean that in the most complimentary way possible, of course.
P.S. As always, feel free to contribute a verse or two to the song, should the musical muse be with you.
I too am lucky to have my own "Woodchuck Man". Most of the time I take for granted all that he can do with very little. Our 5 year old granddaughter thinks that there is nothing that Poppy can't fix. Happy Birthday to "A" and many more years of woodchucking!
