Poppy and I were having her required wake-up cuddle early (very early) one morning, when she spontaneously gave me a very sweet kiss on the cheek.
"Thank you," I said. "I like kisses."
A pause, then Poppy remarked, "I like candy."
Another pause. "Especially lollipops."
Duly noted, Poppy Oakley.
That is sweet.

AwwW! What a sweetie!

I think she was hoping I would provide the lollipop since she had provided the kiss. :-)
ReplyDeleteThose are the moments that momma's love, yes?
ReplyDeleteI feel that there's going to be no stopping Poppy. Seeing her grow up will be very interesting indeed. Four children, four routes, lots of good dinners. As A will tell you, good dinners are the secret of a happy family. Or at least of happy children.
