Just another chilly morning, letting the chickens out of their coop, closing the gate to the ram pasture, when . . . wait. What's this? It's cold. It's white. It's . . . snow.
That's right. We can now record in the annals of history the first snow fall of the winter, weak and insignificant though it may be. Looks like Old Man Winter is getting ready to bring it. And you know what? I AIN'T SCARED.
So there.

You are far braver than I!
I'm not ready for winter! Even though we barely get any snow, I'm not ready for the cold, scraping windshields in the morning...
The weather person in Minnesota just predicted that we would have above normal snow fall this winter--63 inches. Can you beat that? and we have already started!
I was wondering if you guys were getting snow up there. BOO. Don't let man-cub hear about it; he may never want to come out of his cozy environs.
Old Man winter can stay there. I don't even want to think about it. So I won't!.
I can count on one hand the amount of times I've seen it snow in my place of residence. Here we get rain, sleet, hail, and tornadoes... no snow. Ahhh... to cozy up by a fire. No such luck.
I finally had to turn on the heat last night. It was 37 degrees out and with the rain it was just miserable.
I say Old Man Winter can take a hike. I always thought I'd miss the snow when we winter in AZ, but really? Not so much. Each Christmas we fly home to Chicago to be with family members, and those two weeks are enough to freeze my blood. It takes a few weeks after I return to AZ for it to thaw out! LOL!
HOLY!
Just no skating on the driveway this year. No matter how much it entertains the dogs.
You taunted old man winter before...and now you are brave enough to do it again....hope you have tons of winter gear to wear and wood to burn. :)
Snow! Already? Blech. It's cold here in Toronto too but no white stuff. Not looking forward to it either........
I stowed a snow brush and ice scraper in my car. I'm ready.
