It's That Time of Year Again

When I go out to the shed to get some wood and am confronted with four severed deer legs on top of the woodpile.

No warning this time, either.

I didn't take a picture. You're welcome.

Don't really understand why the legs would be on the wood pile, but then I've never had to deal with a dead animal I planned to eat, and that's the good news! I do know you're definitely not going to use them as fuel in the wood stove.

They were actually from the doe last week. A. left the legs on top of the woodpile so the dogs wouldn't get them and carry them around, but then he forgot to bring them back to the woods to dump them when he went back out. Not to worry--they're frozen.
