I only got a close-up photo of one of last week's arrangements.
I'm sure you are not surprised to see sage and sunflowers yet again.
For the rest of the week, I just had a couple of sunflowers in the Topo Chico bottle. I didn't get a close-up photo of that, but you've seen that before. And I did get a photo of it in action, you might say.
And there they are! On the table with the books I bought the children to celebrate their successful completion of the first week of school.
And just in case you're like me and always want to know what the books are:
Top three for Cubby, Richard Scarry for Poppy, deadly animals for Jack, and the dragon series for Calvin.
I hope you have a lovely Monday, with or without flowers (or books.)

My two love that Dragon series! They have read it several times now.
Cubby is probably about the right age for My Side of the Mountain although I would suspect it's already part of your library.
My boys Loved Richard Scarry books. There was a TV show or vcr tapes (I can’t remember which) too. We had So many books. I’m glad to see today’s children still love them. They were some of my favorites.
Phoo-D: Calvin's appetite for dragon stories seems to be insatiable, so I was happy to find another series for him.
Quilty Chaos: Oh yes. Both Cubby and Calvin love that book, and its sequels. But always feel free to leave suggestions for books, because it may be one I've never heard of and it's hard to keep up with those two boys and their book appetites.
Joellen: Yup, those videos are all on Youtube, and they are Poppy's favorites. That's why I got her this book. We also have "Busy, Busy World" and "Cars and Trucks and Things That Go." Richard Scarry has been popular for generations for a reason.
Books as gifts or rewards is SO great! Much better than plastic junk toys or junk food! Richard Scarry is the BEST!
