I only know of two - German Potato Salad and just "plain old potato salad." Both are excellent. What other kind is there? Recipe, please??? I've never had "bad" potato salad.
I wish I had heard of the potato salad with beets yesterday. Your dad harvested two beets that were cream colored, not red, but tasted just as sweet as the red colored ones. Neither of us are sure why the beets didn't come out red since they were definitely ready to be harvested and tasted fine - may be a different type of beet. Since you're the expert gardener, I'll leave that one in your ball court.
There are golden beets. Could have been those, maybe? Otherwise, I have no idea why you would have albino beets. Unless he accidentally planted turnips.
