I'm Feeling Poetic Today

And since I have some News (with a capital "N," yes) to share, I figure it might as well be in limerick form. Because why not?

Ahem.

There once was a girl named K.,
Who married a boy named A.
They were two for a while,
Till one day, with a smile,
They discovered a baby's on the way.

Hi. I'm pregnant.

WOW, what a surprise!!! Congratulations to the two of you. Maybe you can name the baby with a T. word, that way you will be a family called K.A.T. Won't the dogs be jealous then - that you're a KAT family. Congratulations again. What a nice surprise. Bonnie

HI. I'M FREAKING ECSTATIC FOR YOU. Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

But this begs the question: how will you ever teach the baby not to get attached to the Not Pets?!

I have goose bumps! I am so excited for you and A. What a blessed child to come into such a COOL life! Congratulations to both of you. I would love to hear the story of how you discovered that you were pregnancy and how you told the Mil. Now go put your feet up.

I was wondering last night if you guys were planning on having kids.
No, I don't think about you usually until I log on in the mornings. Congrats you guys.

Oh my LORD LORD LORD. I miss checking in for one dadgum day and this is what I miss?! You did that on purpose didn't you?

You realize what you've done, don't you, unleashing this news to your faithful? We'll be touching your belly inappropriately (virtually, of course) EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR THE NEXT NINE MONTHS.

CountryMidwife said...

MM, we have to break it to Kristin early -- it's TEN MONTHS!!!
