Another Day in the Life . . .

There I was in the kitchen this morning, looking around blearily for Mia's food dish on the floor of the breakfast nook, when I spied a foreign object on the floor. Foreign objects on the floor are always cause for concern at Blackrock. So I warily moved a little closer, studied it for a minute, and finally recognized it: It was a chewed-off mouse's head.

Good morning to you, too, cats!

I guess I should really stop complaining about all the bugs I'm finding in our new house.

At least three inch cockroaches are still less horrifying than a chewed-off mouse's head.

Also, thank goodness you do not suffer from morning sickness. Yowza.

I see your chewed off mouse head. And I'll raise you a de-feathered dove torso.

Good one Tara_LB . And at least it wasn't a snake and you were paying attention.

blech! We usually find the butt and long tail - no head. I think it'd be a little more depressing to find a face.

Yummy. At least if was dead and not just wounded and still moving. You have to look for the upside to things. Of course, sometimes you need to look really hard to find it.

I have to disagree with sweetbird. I would find almost anything less horrifying than a three-inch cockroach. (shudder)
