The Return

How can so much laundry accumulate in just one week? And why do I have this horrible cramp in my leg? And most importantly, what in the world could have happened to the Vaseline I keep on my bedside table to prevent chapped lips? A. swears he hasn't seen it. It's unlikely a burglar with very chapped lips showed up and took only my Vaseline. Totally bizarre.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a pile of laundry the approximate size of Mt. Kilimanjaro to deal with. Welcome home to me!

Sorry to be ms. worry wart....but have you thought of a blood clot w/ your leg from flying?
But, totally , even with laundry, it's great to be home, isn't it?Bet the doggies gave you many puppy kisses on return. Back to air dried laundry and a super cool bedroom. aaah , home.

I always got charlie horses in my legs in the middle of the night, and the only way to get them to stop was for me to bolt out of bed and walk them off. It was always really fun for Brad to see his pregnant wife fly out of bed, buckled over in pain and screaming OW OW OW! Oops.

It might be a calcium issue. I remember from WAAAAAAAY back in the 1960's when I had leg cramp problems while pregnant. Welcome home. Bonnie

Well, for leg cramps I usually look to dehydration or lack of potassium as the cause. In which case, drink more water and eat a banana.

But what do I know? I'm no doctor.

Sorry someone absconded with your Vaseline. I won't even make any lewd jokes at this most dire time.

I'd check Rita's (the puppy) lips to make sure she didn't take off with the Vaseline.

Being that you were in AZ for the week, and it was warm weather, there's a good chance that you are a little dehydrated. Drink a lot of water. Also, I always got leg cramps when I was pregnant. Welcome home.

The great thing about leg cramps is they sometimes happen in the middle of the night, when it's fun to wake husbands with all the screaming.

I blame the baby, btw.

I second the banana recommendation - it helped me with my leg cramps, and also that jumpy eye thing, apparently.
Burt's Bees is better than Vaseline for chapped lips, IMHO. Have fun with the laundry!
