So Much for That

I have a vague, hazy memory of some fun and entertaining post I was going to write today. I'm pretty sure it had something to do with the photo below. It's gone now, though, thanks to last night's endless feeding frenzy and accompanying spit up. Cubby's, obviously, not mine. So you'll just have to hope he sleeps tonight so my brain will actually function well enough to write something of worth tomorrow.

He sleeps great when the sun is shining. Contrary little punk.

He looks like a little baby who just bloomed along with the spring flowers.

If only we could sleep so easily...

I so love that you live life "real" with a baby.. bringin' him outside and lettin' him know nature early - instead of all the ULTRA sterilized stuff most people go for.

I heard a saying once.. God made dirt and dirt don't hurt and it's good for kids to get out like that and hopefully it'll come natural to him later on to want to be outside, grow things, work with his hands...

Good for you girl... the kids got a great mom so he's off to a good start :)

Could I pretty please trade places with Cubby?

I'm back, if that is allowed. I was wondering if you tried leaving cubbies' light on at night , since he likes sleeping in the sun, he might sleep longer with the lights on? Has he been sleeping all day ?instead of all night? I also wondered if the lights they used for his jaundice may have spoiled him? Just thinkin' out loud here. And I'm with Mia on the comments:) B.

No, he doesn't really sleep all day. He sleeps pretty well at night, actually, waking only once from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. We had gotten kind of spoiled. It was just one night. Must have been a growth spurt.

He's all "Mom, can you keep it down? I'm, like, really tired from being up most of the night."

But he's cute, so I'll allow it.
