Time We Spent In the Doctor's Office to Get Those Measurements and a Couple of Shots: An hour and a half
So, to summarize, Cubby spent most of his energy growing his head in the last couple of months; he's a very tall, somewhat slender baby with a pretty big head; and our doctor's office is so goddamn inefficient I would like to give everyone who works there a boot to the head.
But Cubby is finally asleep and I just ate some chocolate cookies, so everything is okay now.

That is actually not too bad in terms of time spent in the office. My local doctor's office has an average three-hour waiting time to get back behind the special door into an exam room, unless perhaps you happen to get the first appointment of the day, which I am pretty sure doesn't exist. It really, really sucks. I wish doctors could stay on schedule and see people at the correct times,so that nobody spent too much time in the office. It just makes everyone grumpy to lose a couple hours of your day to sit in a boring waiting room eagerly awaiting shots.
